Millyard Museum

Learn the story of Manchester and the people who have lived and worked here through a unique, permanent exhibit: Woven in Time: 11,000 Years at Amoskeag Falls. It also features the Discovery Gallery, a multi-purpose space used during the campaign for events and candidate interviews. 

While You’re There: Visit our special exhibit, Manchester and the Path to the Presidency! Showcasing a chronological history of the primary process, this exhibit features images of famous candidates throughout the years as they engaged with Manchester voters in their homes, on the streets, and in the many iconic watering holes around the city. Note: Exhibit Closes on February 29, 2020.

Bookery Manchester

You are likely to see primary candidates inside Bookery Manchester sipping coffee with community members, speaking about their platforms, or signing copies of their latest book.  All political candidates are welcomed at Bookery Manchester as it remains an open political hub where every citizen has the resources to remain informed and engage in discussion. 

While You’re There: Check out the candidates 2020 book display. Bookery Manchester is the flagship swag store to find your 2020 “First In the Nation” gear. Be sure to check out the cafe while you’re shopping around or enjoying an event!

Red Arrow Diner

Ketchup on Politics at this locally famous diner that is literally open 24/7!

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Red Arrow has you covered. So many candidates and famous people have been there that they literally started labeling tables and seats at the counter with “So and So sat here”.

While You’re There: : Sirius XM will be broadcasting on Monday 2/10  (7- a. M -Noon, 6-9 p.m.) and Tuesday, 2/11 (7-9 a.m., 3-6 p.m.)All are welcome! During the scheduled times there will be a special gratis menu.  Don’t miss out!

The Currier Museum of Art

Internationally renowned museum featuring European and American paintings, decorative arts, photographs and sculpture from many world famous artists. The Art Center offers studio workshops, classes for children and adults, tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House, and year-round exhibitions and tours. 


While You’re There: You won’t want to miss the We Are For Freedoms exhibit, an artist-led platform for civic engagement, discourse, and action that seeks to highlight America’s diversity through anti-partisan artistic interventions. A highly participatory exhibition that coincides with the lead-up to New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation presidential primary by showing how art can spur discussions about values, place, patriotism, and participation!

 Scavenger Hunt Task: We Are For Freedoms is inspired by Norman Rockwell’s 1943 paintings of the four universal freedoms articulated by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. The City Hall of Manchester

New Hampshire is known for being the principal commercial thoroughfare of the city. The brick-and-granite, three-story structure was built in 1844-45 to a design by Boston architect Edward Shaw.

While You’re There: Be sure to check out the art on the walls in the main hall. You may see filming and press right outside! You can also enjoy the flag display across Elm Street.

Manchester Boston Regional Airport

Nominated one of the nation's best small airports by USA Today. It has earned its reputation for easy access, friendly staff, and excellent facilities.  Candidates will be flying in and out for all of the Primary season! 

While You’re There: View the C-SPAN American Presidents Life Portraits exhibit on the first floor of the terminal. You can also watch flights take off and land from a spot on the Observation Deck located on the third floor!

Scavenger Hunt Task: Take a selfie with one of your favorite past Presidents in the C-SPAN American Presidents Life Portraits exhibit display as though you were getting your own portrait taken, be careful not lean on them though! Tag  @FlyManchester on social and be sure to use #MHTFITN

Saint Anselm College

For over 60 years, Saint Anselm College has been welcoming candidates for the United States Presidency. Home to the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) and a must-stop on the campaign trail for all major contenders for the White House, Saint Anselm has a rich history of hosting debates and presidential primary events. 

While You’re There

Every four years, Saint Anselm College becomes a hub for political activity ahead of New Hampshire’s presidential primary. Be sure to secure your seat at the Democratic debate on!

A staple in downtown Manchester, hosting presidential candidates, local dignitaries, and rock stars throughout the year! Every four years, however, this space is bustling with various news stations; interviews might even take place in hallways, outside or at the bar! DoubleTree is across from the SNHU arena and within easy walking distance of shopping, coffee and dining options. 

While You’re There: Be a part of the primary excitement by reserving a seat at the Current Kitchen & Bar, a casual dining experience with upscale creative dishes. You are bound to see a candidate pass by!

Chez Vachon

Chez Vachon translates to House of Vachon and has been a staple for locals for decades. Located on the “French” side of town it is renowned for its absolutely over-the-top gigantic servings. Regulars often joke that “small portions don’t even exist on the menu.”

During the political seasons you can find candidates enjoying breakfast crepes, smoked meat sandwiches and French poutine.
